American Restoration Parts now carries both styles of the early traction bars found on 1967 high performance Camaro models. The round tube style is the original bar provided by GM. After realizing it might not be up to managing all the horsepower that some of these cars were producing, GM revised the design and brought out the square tube replacement. Both styles mount to the passenger side of the rear axle and to the Camaro's floor pan. Also available is a reproduction bracket that mounts the square traction bar to the axle tube mounted bracket.
