RAM powergrip clutches are ideal for factory performance cars that are predominately street driven, but may see the track once or twice a year. Powergrip is also a great option for increased service life in commercial and off road vehicles. Each powergrip set contains an oem or better pressure plate, Powergrip clutch disc, release bearing, and alignment tool. Disc friction materials may vary within applications between Kevlar composite, metallic, or premium organic. Because the Powergrip disc provides increased holding power by using a higher coefficent of friction material, some chatter may occur. RAM powergrip is a big step up in performance with 30% more holding power overstock, and up to 60% more capacity in the Hi-clamp HD sets. High coefficient friction materials give crisp engagement and clean release on shifts. Expect some low chatter with stock gearing.
